About Nine Mile Software Corporation

Nine Mile Software was founded by a group of investment advisors with the idea of bringing better software to the financial services industry. Our founders were continually frustrated by the lack of solid software options for our industry, poor service, and high costs. They decided they could develop superior software at more affordable prices, so they left their RIA practice and founded Nine Mile Software.

Our team of experienced investment professionals and engineers is currently planning, building and testing our pilot program, TradeWarrior, a portfolio rebalancing program for financial advisors. TradeWarrior is the product of four years of in-depth research on portfolio rebalancing & trade generation. Once completed, it will offer all investment advisors the opportunity for a powerful portfolio rebalancing tool at a reasonable price. Check out our TradeWarrior page for more detailed information.

What's in a name?

We've been asked (by those curious types) where our name comes from. We chose to name the company after Nine Mile Canyon in Eastern Utah. We know that the name is very untraditional for a financial services company, but we believe the industry is due for an untraditional approach to software, which is one of the reasons we picked it. The area is very beautiful and grand, and has a real “pioneering” spirit to it from the original Fremont & Ute Indian tribes that originally settled the area, and we hope to espouse the same pioneering attitude for this industry in creating a new standard for software and service. Lastly, Nine Mile Canyon is actually over 40 miles long, so there’s much more to Nine Mile than the name implies, and we hope that you’ll find the same experience with us.
