In (roughly) 2004 we (our former advisory firm) began contemplating the design and coding of our own trade rebalancing software solution. We had the need, but we didn’t want to pay out the nose for such a solution. We designed for months, we coded for months, and about one year later, we had our solution (affectionately know as BG Trader). We were uncertain how it would work out, but we knew that even the total costs of development would be recouped within 3 years if it was successful. All time utilizing the solution after that would be gravy.
Four years later, the advisory firm is still using the system. They’ve saved countless hours, and the effort has been considered a huge success. With this knowledge, and a good deal of financial backing, Nine Mile Software and TradeWarrior were launched. And here we are with our website, our blog, our forum and most importantly a team that has successfully designed, built and implemented a trade rebalancing software solution that is still being used today. With these capabilities, our intent is to build enterprise solutions for independent financial firms of all sizes. We’re well on our way, expecting full release of our TradeWarrior software suite in the first quarter of 2009. We’re excited to offer a new rebalancing solution to the RIA industry that is both robust and affordable, something our former advisory firm needed for years.
